History,
In 1899 Modest BYVOET graduated as a 'Doctor in Law' from the University of Leuven and started his own law office in Hasselt.
Five years later, in 1904, his brother Xavier BYVOET started his own law office in Antwerp.
In 1908 Modest BYVOET became a judge and handed over his office to Xavier BYVOET.
André BYVOET also started at the Hasselt Bar in 1938 and is nominated Chaiman of the Hasselt Bar Council in 1955, 1961 en 1967.
Thee years later, in 1970, Thierry BYVOET joined his father at the Hasselt Bar.
On the 9th of March André BYVOET is rewarded by the Belgian Bar Association and gets 'Erepenning van de Nationale Orde van de Belgische Advocaten'.
In 2002 his grandchild André BYVOET started at the Brussels Bar, while he studied Insurance Law, in 2003 he also joined the Hasselt Bar.
